We understand that getting the right mental and emotional health support when needed is of great importance for carers. With this in mind, we have pulled together a range of additional valuable sources support in Suffolk.

We have included resources which are not only useful for your own mental and emotional health, but also to help if you are looking after someone with mental or physical health problems.

Suffolk County Council

Including the Council’s ‘Suffolk InfoLink’ directory of local groups and organisations supporting mental health and wellbeing.

The NHS Suffolk Wellbeing page

Wellbeing Suffolk provides a range of support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, such as low mood, depression or stress.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT)

NSFT support people with mental health problems, both as patients and within the community.

Suffolk Mind

Offer a number of different mental health and wellbeing services.

Free Anxiety Management courses
‘Greencare’ sessions held outdoors
Open Spaces – health and wellbeing groups providing different activities and discussion
